If they put a coffee maker in the room it would be a bonus. Such a nice place to sit and face the day. The coffee is instant so in my mind not worth drinking but you get a beautiful plate of fruit and a piece of toast with butter and jam.

Breakfast: Breakfast is free and served on the beach across the path. We got water in a few minutes when we made a fuss. Unfortunately (and this is a guess) they turn the water off at seemingly random times a day. They provide beach towels at the front desk. There is a fridge in the main area to store anything you need to keep cold.
It’s clean, the bed is comfy and when there is water - the shower is good. The basics : This place is not the Hilton but it is not that bad. We just stayed a whole month at Casa Maya and had a great time! It’s a cozy hotel with only 7 rooms, located just in front of the (more or less) private beach with sunbeds and parasols. They absolutely ruined an otherwise beautiful stay for my sister and I. The Problem: There is a new place next door called Trebol. We had burgers after a long night and were satisfied. The drinks at the beach were gorgeous and tasty. If you stay at the Casa you can sit in the beach chairs across the street which is a MAJOR bonus as beach chairs run upwards of 800 pesos on the beach for the day.
